On Windows 11/10/8/7/Vista/XP download recoil-6.4.2-win64.msi (for 64-bit Windows) or recoil-6.4.2-win32.msi (for 32-bit Windows). This includes:
- Windows Explorer thumbnails
- plugin for XnView (MP and Classic)
- plugin for Imagine
- plugin for Paint.NET
- plugin for GIMP
- RECOILWin - a standalone viewer
- recoil2png - a command-line converter
Manual installation
Alternatively to the above installers, you can download recoil-6.4.2-win64.zip or recoil-6.4.2-win32.zip and extract the files to proper locations.
IrfanView plugin
RECOIL is already included in the "Formats" IrfanView plugin.
Windows 10/11 application
A native Windows 10/11 application (also for phones and tablets) is available in Windows Store.
